Over 2.2 billion people in the world lack access to water security. This study investigates the feasibility of atmospheric water harvesting using Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), specifically MOF-303, to generate water in two distinct climatic zones: Niamey, Niger and Lagos, Nigeria. By analyzing the temperature fluctuations and relative humidity (RH), this study models the Temperature Swing Adsorption (TSA) cycle to calculate the amounts of water that can be collected in these two regions. The calculations show that despite the low RH, Niamey shows higher amounts of water collected.
