Many Central Asian women are starting their own businesses to gain independence and control over their lives; they seek not only income but also confidence and recognition. This qualitative study examines how globalization impacts the emergence and development of women entrepreneurs in Central Asia.

The study also focuses on global tools, platforms, and opportunities to support women in launching and growing their own businesses, as well as what kinds of challenges they continue to face. The results of this study showed that globalization has opened up significant pathways for entrepreneurial growth, especially through digital technologies and international networks.

However, many women continue to encounter structural inequalities, lack of mentorship, and societal expectations that hinder their full participation in the business world. This study also recommends offering more practical training, encouraging partnerships between women in different countries, and using online communities to help women connect, learn, and grow their businesses.
